The Diet Part Dos

Yep... dieting for like a week now... yep... still fat...

Eff.

On the bright side, my strange eating habits makes it easier to watch my calories, but I am not really sure what number I am supposed to hit.  One website said I need 1400 kCal a day to lose weight... another said 1700 kCal... so, I am aiming to be somewhere between there.

Yeah... this dieting thing doesn't seem that hard... but still... must wait on results...

Will report back lata'.

The Diet

I'm not proud of it...

I don't like it...

And no, this does not mean I like vegetables...

But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

So here are the facts.  Living in Drayton Valley has a number of benefits, including reduced expenses, reduced driving time, and more face time with the people you work with, including vendors.  One of the benefits of having increased face time with vendors is they happen to take you out for lunch... a lot....  Well, remember the saying that everything in modest amounts is best?  It turns out that is true.

My monthly food bill is outrageously low.  The issue, is that though my food bill is small, my belly is starting to get a bit too... big.

So the facts.  I am not obese.  I am not grossly fat.  There is however, a little bit too much of me right now, more of me to love right?  Maybe... or, maybe not so much.  So, before I get too fat, or become obese something needs to be done.

I had initially tried moderating my diet without any guidance or tracking.  That seemed to work a little, as I have replaced some of my meals with vegetables (bleaugh), and have managed to reduce the number of times that I go out for lunch, but still.  I'm not sure if this has been working or not.  I don't think I am getting any bigger, but I am definitely not getting smaller.

So, this all comes down to my phone.  A friend had the idea, so I went on my phone and I looked up apps that could help me out with this.  Lo and behold, I found an app where I could write down what I was eating, and it would tell me if I was intaking the right amount of food to lose weight.

This week I kicked it off.

So far so good, though who knows.

I don't care how heavy I am, as I am always the same weight, I just care about how it is getting harder to undo my belt as it is getting harder to see it.

Anyways, I will try to keep you guys informed somewhat on this.  I have to be honest with everything, afterall I would just be lying to myself... well... and you...

Anyways anyways, I want to put a link up here so people can see what a "diet" looks like for me (a few less slurpees and pizza), but I can't figure out how to do that...

Oh well.  You are up to date for now and hopefully you will stay that way.

Wish me luck...  this is really gonna suck...
