I packed all day. I mean, alllllllll day. I packed alllllllllll day, and when I gave up I still was not sure that everything would fit inside the car. It did not matter. I knew it would fit. I waited for my better half to return so that she could finish packing her gear. Once I had everything I filled Jerusalem to the brim. When I say brim, I mean BRIM. Soo full it is capitalized. It was evident that our fair steed could feel the effects of the weight as the back end was sunk low low low on the suspension... Oh well... all should be well.
With that we said good-bye to 128 Woodhaven Drive, Saint John.
FEATURED GOOD-BYE VIDEO... uhhh... no videos till I get home... Sorry!
That night we drove to Moncton. It was only an hour and a half drive but it was best that we got on the road as soon as possible. Most campgrounds are shut down already so for the majority of this trip we will be camping in RV Parks. This was the case in Moncton. We pulled in and went to our site. We put up the tent, and then headed to bed (after a misleadingly long wait for the owners of the site so that we could pay that evening).
In this middle of the night we woke to terrible winds. It was very very windy, and being a site made for RV’s and not for tents there was very little shelter. We sprung from our sleeping bags at once to grab for the sides of the tents to stabilize the poles that were bending very very far. We got out of the tent and moved it behind Jerusalem, but still the rest of the night was an uneasy sleep.
