Mexico Part Uno

It's been a while since I've been to Mexico, but since money was a little tight and we were in need of a vacation type vacation (as opposed to a travel type vacation) that's where we headed.

There were no issues on the way down, and no issues getting to the condo which happens to be in Puerto Morelos (half way between Cancun and Playa del Carmen), aside from the typical Mexican haggling/tipping/hoping you get what you pay for culture.

That was that.  We enjoyed the day, and the next day we stocked up at Costco and Mega so that we would have food for the two weeks.  Yeah, that was that, and for pretty much a week straight we did nothing but get up, eat Nutella on toast, chill out, walk to the tortilliaria (tortilla factory), eat tortillas, chill out, go into town and try a different restaurant.  That was it, repeat steps 1 through 5 and repeat.

We needed the break, at least, I know I needed the break.  So that's how it went.  I worked on catching up on a few things, I got some planning on my manuscript done, I got some writing done, I got some watching the iguanas done, and I got some waiting for job stuff done.

Yeah, that was that.

In the middle there is sort of a side story, and here is how it went...
